Poojan Patel

Hello, I am Poojan Patel, an Assistant Professor of Finance at Bryant University. I hold a PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Massachusetts Boston. My research explores the intersection of technology and finance, applying natural language processing and large language models to corporate disclosures, with a particular focus on climate risk disclosure, economic policy uncertainty, and the textual analysis of SEC filings. I hold a Master's in Financial Engineering, an MBA in Technology Management, and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, a combination that grounds my work at the meeting point of finance, technology, and practice. Through both research and teaching, I strive to contribute rigorous scholarship and practical insights that address pressing challenges in business and society.
