TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
My teaching philosophy centers on making finance intuitive and applicable, not just theoretical. I emphasize hands-on data analysis and real-world case applications so students build practical skills alongside conceptual understanding. I bring my research in NLP and empirical corporate finance into the classroom, helping students see how emerging tools like large language models are reshaping financial analysis. Above all, I aim to create an environment where students feel supported taking intellectual risks, since I know firsthand what it means to be the first in a family to pursue advanced study.
